Tackstore was formed in 2020 from a partnership with rugupnow.com, which offers custom made horse-wear including; show rugs, saddle cloths, clothing matching accessories.

We use our proven engineering experience and expertise to manufacturer high quality mobile tack storage lockers, rug trunks and tack storage equipment – ideal for easily moving and safely storing all your equestrian equipment, either at the yard or at events.

We are a UK business based in a modern facility in Calne, Wiltshire.

Quality is so important to us

Tackstore is part of the BIL Group, who specialise in manufacturing and supplying castors and wheels, and materials handling equipment to all types of customers throughout the UK and beyond.

We apply the same rigorous quality standards to our tack storage lockers and rug trunks, as we do to all our other products. This means you can be assured that when you buy a Tacklocker product it won’t let you down and has truly been built to last.

Because quality is so important to us, we make sure we use the highest quality materials. Your Tacktrunk or Rug locker will be constructed from extruded aluminium profiles, high-pressure laminated (HPL) 6mm thick MDF.  Each panel is fully sealed with a high specification silicone sealant and is designed to withstand all weathers.

The Tacklocker sits on a strong welded aluminium base fitted with a variety of different castor and wheel options – chosen by you to suit your requirements.

Bespoke Custom Design

As well as offering our standard range of Tack storage products, we can also provide fully bespoke tack storage lockers of any dimension and design. If you have your own tack storage locker design, talk to us and we can build it for you.
